Insightful Workshop on Glaucoma: Empowering Future Healthcare Professionals

The Department of Optometry organized an insightful workshop on the Types, Investigation, and Management of Glaucoma, led by Dr Ahmed, Madinah Teaching Hospital. It aimed at enhancing knowledge in this critical area of healthcare, the session provided valuable insights for BSOP 7th and 9th semester students.

Dr Ahmed provided valuable insights into advanced diagnostic tools and management strategies for glaucoma, equipping students with a deeper understanding of its complexities.The workshop not only expanded participants' knowledge but also aligned with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Quality Education (SDG 4) and Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8).

The feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the success of this event in enhancing their educational experience and preparing them for future roles in healthcare.
