The Department of Islamic Studies successfully held the orientation ceremony for its short summer courses, "Foundations of Quranic Understanding" and "The Art of Tajweed and Qiraat." The event took place in a spiritually uplifting environment and was attended by both faculty members and students.
Dr. Humaira Khalil, Associate Professor, warmly welcomed the participants and delivered an inspiring talk on the significance of Quranic learning and the sacred art of Tajweed. The course instructor provided insightful overviews of the course structure, objectives, and expected learning outcomes.
Students actively participated in the session, expressing their excitement and commitment to benefiting from this opportunity. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt du'a for the success of the courses and for the students’ journey in deepening their understanding and recitation of the Holy Qur’an.
