Department of Islamic Studies Organized Hajj Project Display to Promote Awareness

At The University of Faisalabad, a project display on the topic of Hajj was organized by Miss Shakeela Rasheed, Lecturer in the Department of Islamic Studies. Students from various programs, including BSDMJ, BSIR, BBA, ADPBA, ADPDMJ, BSAF, and ADPAF, set up different stalls representing the Manasik-e-Hajj, such as Mina, Arafat, Jamarat, and the Khutbah of Hujjatul Wida.

The presentation began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by BBA student M. Saoud, followed by a Naat recited by BSDMJ student Mughees. Students then presented a variety of materials such as posters, standees, flexes, and display cards related to the rites of Hajj. The display was visited by Prof Dr Matloob Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and the honorable Prof Dr Majed Riaz, Head of the Urdu Department.
