Ashra-e-Rahmatul-lil-Alameen: English Speech Competition Honoring the Legacy of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)

The Department of English Language & Literature, in collaboration with the Department of Islamic Studies, organized an English Speech Competition in connection with Ashra-e-Rahmatul-lil-Alameen (SAW) during the blessed month of Rabi ul Awwal. The topic for the competition was “The Holy Prophet (PBUH) as Peace Maker and Military Strategist.” Students from various departments participated with great enthusiasm, delivering insightful speeches that highlighted the exemplary life and leadership of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The distinguished jury panel included Mr Hanan Iftikhar, Head of TUF International Program; Prof Dr Matloob Ahmad, Dean Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, TUF; and Dr Hifza Munawwar, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, TUF.

The results were announced as follows:

  • 1st Tabbasum Tariq (Department of English Language & Literature)
  • 2nd Muhammad Muhhadis Ahmad (Department of Law)
  • 3rd Aniqa Fatima (Department of Mass Communication)

In their closing remarks, the jury highly appreciated the participants’ efforts and provided them with valuable academic and professional guidance. The event was a meaningful tribute to the Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings of peace, tolerance, and strategic wisdom.
