Department of Design & Interiors arranged an eminent painting competition scheduled on April 22, 2024, showcasing expressive prowess of students through the medium of painting, thereby fostering artistic expression and unveiling a realm of untapped talent. The Competition engaged approximately 50 students from diverse Art Institutions in Faisalabad including Superior University, National Textile University & FITFD
The competition aimed to foster artistic interconnections among institutions and provide participants with an avenue to immerse themselves in the milieu of The University of Faisalabad. Student participated under the themes of Women Empowerment & Cultural Heritage and Preservation & a distinguished panel of judges evaluated the participants' works based on their caliber and performance which included Mohsin Mirza Latif | Lecturer, Institute of Art and Design, Tehmina Afzal | Assistant Professor, Institute of Art and Design, Afsheen Javaid | Head of Department, Department of Design and Interiors, TUF and Kiran Khalid | Lecturer, University of Agriculture Faisalabad.
Students received a certificate of participation at the conclusion of the competition. Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place were also presented to appreciate the winners' extraordinary skills.
