Art of Story Telling – Seminar & Workshop

A seminar & workshop on The Art of Storytelling was organized by Head of Department Afsheen Javaid on 13th May 2024 at The University of Faisalabad and facilitated by Naveed Qamar, an award-winning film maker & media consultant. Naveed Qamar's photography ambitious approach & knowledge on digital mediums & digital literacy was impelling and indeed a transformative learning experience for both budding and seasoned photographers. Through a blend of theoretical insights and practical exercises, Naveed guided workshop participants in understanding the intricate relationship between visual elements and narrative construction.

Emphasizing the power of a single image to convey complex stories, the workshop delved into techniques for capturing emotion, context, and atmosphere. Naveed's approach was both intuitive and structured, encouraging participants to explore their unique perspectives while adhering to fundamental principles of composition and lighting. By the end of the workshop, attendees not only enhanced their technical skills but also developed a deeper appreciation for the narrative potential of photography, leaving with a portfolio that speaks volumes.
