Earth Day Outreach Plantation Drive

In honor of World Earth Day, the University of Faisalabad’s Character-Building Society organized a special tree planting event aimed at promoting environmental responsibility within the community. Students gathered at Gulshan e Madinah, Sargodha Road, to participate in this meaningful initiative.

Seventeen different types of trees, including Arjun, Pomegranate, Guava, White Fig, Java Plum, Citrus Species, Moringa, Camel’s Foot, and Plum, were carefully planted by students using saplings and gardening tools. Guided by their leaders and a knowledgeable botanist, the students worked with enthusiasm to make the area greener and more beautiful.

The sight of students coming together to plant trees left a positive impact on everyone who passed by, inspiring admiration and a sense of shared responsibility for our environment.

This Earth Day project serves as a reminder of how small actions can make a big difference in protecting our planet. The University of Faisalabad’s Character-Building Society is committed to continuing such events and encourages more people to get involved in caring for the environment.
