Haji Muhammad Saleem was the eldest son of Haji Muhammad Amin (1920–1975), the founding forefather of the family’s philanthropic enterprise. Carrying forward the spiritual inspiration and selfless dedication cultivated by his family—beginning with his grandmother Fatima Bibi—Haji Muhammad Saleem dedicated his life to transforming personal benevolence into structured public welfare.
He recognized that long-term social impact required an organized, institutionalized framework. To guide his family and community forward, he articulated a definitive roadmap summarized in three pillars: Industry, Service, and Education.

Haji Muhammad Saleem’s vision served as the direct catalyst for consolidating the family’s business and philanthropic activities into formal organizations.
Foundation of the Philosophy
Building upon the business established in 1948, the family pledged that a significant share of business profits would be reinvested directly into the community, aiming for the social uplift of the underprivileged without discrimination.
Creation of the Trust
To carry out Haji Muhammad Saleem’s mandate in an organized and sustainable manner, the family established Madinah Foundation (Trust) in 1995.
Today, Madinah Foundation serves as the financing and executing arm for the social, medical, and educational initiatives envisioned by Haji Muhammad Saleem.
