TUF Signs MoU with ICMA Pakistan to Enhance Industry Engagement and Student Development
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between The University of Faisalabad and Institute of Cost and Management Accountants Pakistan marking an important step towards strengthening academia–professional linkages and creating meaningful opportunities for students and faculty in education, professional development, career support, and industry engagement.
The MoU was formally signed by Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Rector, TUF, and Prof Dr Zahir Ahmad Zahir, Director ORIC, TUF, on behalf of The University of Faisalabad. The TUF delegation also included Prof Dr Muhammad Ashfaq, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies, and Mr Omer Farooq Qureshi, Manager Placement, TUF.
Representing ICMA Pakistan, the MoU was signed by Mr Abdul Shakoor, FCMA, Chairman FBC, and Mr Shahid Irshad, FCMA, Vice Chairman FBC. The ceremony was also attended by Mr Muhammad Rizwan, FCMA, Secretary FBC; Mr Nazir Ahmad, FCMA, Member FBC; Mr Muhammad Sohaib, Member FBC; and Mr Muhammad Usman Siddique, Campus In-charge, ICMA Faisalabad Campus.
The collaboration aims to promote professional education, student development, career opportunities, knowledge exchange, and meaningful academia–industry engagement. The partnership is expected to provide students with valuable opportunities for professional growth and greater exposure to industry practices
