TUF Signs MoU with Alkhidmat Foundation to Support Gaza Students

The University of Faisalabad (TUF) and Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a collaborative framework for providing higher education opportunities and comprehensive support to Palestinian students from Gaza.

The MoU was signed by Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Rector, TUF, and Prof Dr Saad Zafar, Director, Palestinian Scholarships Program, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan. Through the agreement, TUF’s commitment to academic excellence and international student support is aligned with Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s humanitarian efforts under its “Rebuilding Gaza through Education” initiative.

Under the collaboration, TUF will offer 100% scholarships covering degree fees, admission fees, and other fixed charges for selected Palestinian students enrolled in designated undergraduate and postgraduate programs. TUF will also provide academic support, mentoring, laboratory access where applicable, and guidance to facilitate students’ successful integration and academic progress.

The agreement also includes clinical training opportunities for Medical and Dental students from Gaza universities, further strengthening the practical learning component of the partnership and supporting the professional development of participating students.

As part of their visit, the Alkhidmat Foundation team also visited Madinah Teaching Hospital and explored its clinical facilities and healthcare services, gaining insight into the hospital’s capacity to support clinical training and practical learning. The team also planted saplings at Abdul Qadeer Ground as part of TUF’s “Go Green” Initiative.

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to expanding educational access, supporting international students, strengthening practical learning opportunities, and contributing to the development of future professionals through meaningful academic and humanitarian partnerships.
