TUF Hosts Mehfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Across Three Wings

The University of Faisalabad (TUF) observed the blessed occasion of Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ across its Saleem Wing, Amin Wing, and Jinnah Wing through spiritually enriching Mehfil-e-Milad gatherings, bringing together faculty members, scholars, and students to reflect on the blessed life, noble character, Seerah, and timeless teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

At the Saleem Wing, the Department of Arabic & Islamic Studies organized a Mehfil-e-Milad Mustafa ﷺ in the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. The gathering featured an insightful address by Mrs. Mumtaz Khanum, renowned Islamic scholar from Jamia Qadria Rizvia, Faisalabad. She highlighted the exemplary character, mercy, compassion, and guidance of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, emphasizing the importance of love for the Prophet ﷺ and following the Sunnah in daily life. The program concluded with Durood-o-Salam and Dua for the peace, prosperity, and unity of the Muslim Ummah.

At the Amin Wing, the Department of Islamic Studies hosted a spiritually uplifting Mehfil-e-Milad. The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Asadullah from the Department of Computer Sciences, followed by a heartfelt Naat by Ms. Saima Anwar. Prof. Dr. Matloob Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, delivered the welcome address, while Mr. Hussain Fareed from the Department of English Language & Literature presented the Mufakhra. Prof. Dr. Majid Hussain, Dean, Department of Computer Sciences, delivered a moving address on Shan-e-Mustafa ﷺ, focusing on love and obedience to the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Students also presented Salaam, and the gathering concluded with a heartfelt Dua by Dr. Matloob Ahmad.

The Jinnah Wing organized a Grand Mehfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ in an atmosphere of reverence and devotion. The gathering began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Syed Sulaiman Hassni, BS Cyber Security, followed by a Naat by Mubashir Hussain, PhD Scholar of Islamic Studies. Miss Ayesha Batool and other students also presented Naats, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. The occasion was graced by Prof. Dr. Matloob Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, as Guest of Honor; Prof. Dr. Majid Hussain as Chief Guest; and Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Raza-ul-Habib from the Department of Islamic Studies. Dr. Farhan Akhtar, Assistant Professor at Dar-ul-Madina International University, Islamabad, delivered an insightful address on the blessed life, character, Seerah, and teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, emphasizing the importance of incorporating the Sunnah into personal and social life. The program concluded with Salam and Dua for peace, unity, prosperity, and the well-being of the Muslim Ummah and the nation.

Across all three wings, the Mehfil-e-Milad gatherings provided meaningful opportunities for the TUF community to come together in remembrance and devotion, while reflecting upon the noble character and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and their relevance to contemporary personal and social life.
