The University of Faisalabad Celebrates International Day of Peace 2026
The University of Faisalabad (TUF) organized an International Day of Peace 2026 event to promote peace, tolerance, harmony, and mutual respect among students.
The event was attended by faculty members, staff, students, and distinguished guests, including Ms. Aqeela Emmanuel and Ms. Jaweria.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of peace, empathy, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence while encouraging students to become responsible and positive contributors to society.
The event featured a guest speech on peace and harmony, interactive peace activities, and a Peace Wall, where students shared messages and commitments promoting peace and respect.
The event supported TUF’s commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting values-based learning and holistic student development; SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) through awareness of peace, tolerance, dialogue, and responsible citizenship; and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by encouraging collaboration among students, faculty, departments, and guests.
The event provided a meaningful platform for students to express their commitment to peace and harmony and reinforced TUF's efforts to promote a respectful, inclusive, and socially responsible university community.
