TUF Advances Research-Driven Policy Dialogue at National Assembly

The National Business School, TUF proudly highlights the impactful engagement of Dr Samra Subhani, Assistant Professor, at the NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF PAKISTAN on 24 August 2026.

Representing TUF, Dr Samra participated in a significant parliamentary session and engaged in meaningful discussions on research-driven policymaking, legislation and national priorities.

During her visit, she had a meeting with Mr Muhammad Mushtaq (T.I), Advisor to Legislation, where they explored the vital role of academic research in shaping effective public policy. Dr Samra also presented and discussed policy recommendations previously submitted to the Government of Pakistan, focusing on key challenges across the health, education, and economic sectors.

The dialogue underscored the importance of transforming academic expertise and evidence-based research into practical policy solutions, supported by effective implementation mechanisms.

Dr Samra’s engagement reflects TUF’s commitment to bridging academia, policymaking and public service, while contributing meaningful research and expertise to Pakistan’s national policy discourse.
