Seminar on 27th Amendment: Reform or Cosmetic Change?

The Faculty of Law at The University of Faisalabad organized an in-depth seminar on “27th Amendment: Genuine Reform or Cosmetic Change?” bringing together students, faculty, and legal professionals for a critical discussion on constitutional developments. The event began with a welcome address by Prof Dr Sami ul Rehman, Dean Faculty of Law, who highlighted the importance of engaging youth in meaningful legal debates to strengthen democratic understanding and civic responsibility.

Mr Balakh Sher Khosa, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan, graced the event as Chief Guest and shared valuable insights on the evolution of constitutional reforms, the impact of the amendment on governance, and its relevance to Pakistan’s legal system.
