HEC HONOURED TUF FACULTY MEMBERS RECOGNIZED IN STANFORD UNIVERSITY'S GLOBAL TOP 2% SCIENTISTS LIST 2025

TUF proudly celebrated another remarkable milestone as three of its distinguished faculty members were honoured by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for their inclusion in Stanford University's recognized on this prestigious global list include Prof Dr Zahir Ahmad Zahir, Director, ORIC, TUF; Prof Dr Aaqib Majeed, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics; and Dr Muhammad Global Top 2% Scientists List 2025. The recognition ceremony was held at the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology, Punjab University, bringing together leading researchers and scientists from across Pakistan. TUF faculty members Jawad, Lecturer, Department of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics. Punjab Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat, who attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest, congratulated the awardees. Addressing Ahmad Akhtar highlighted that around 1,200 Pakistani researchers have been included in Stanford University's Global Top 2% Scientists List 2025, describing it as a significant achievement for the country. Punjab HEC Chairman, Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan (HI, SI), also congratulated the researchers and emphasized the importance of sustained investment in the ceremony, Chairman, HEC, Dr Niaz research to enable universities to realize their full research potential..
