Board of Studies Meeting Held by the Department of Urdu to Advance Research and Academic Excellence

The Department of Urdu convened its Board of Studies (BoS) meeting under the chairmanship of Prof Dr Riaz Majeed, Head, Department of Urdu. The meeting was attended by Prof Dr Matloob Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences; Prof Dr Naila Riaz, Head, English Literature; Dr Noreen Zahra, Assistant Director Academics; Dr Rubina Yasmin, Associate Professor; Dr Mahmood Raza Syed, Assistant Professor; and Ms Mubashara Faryad, Focal Person, Department of Urdu. The meeting also featured the participation of external experts, including Dr Shabbir Ahmed Qadri, Riphah International University, Faisalabad; Dr Khalid Nadeem, Former Head, Department of Urdu, University of Sargodha; and Dr Mamuna Subhani, Government College University Faisalabad. The Board reviewed and approved MPhil and PhD supervisory committees, research titles, and research proposals, reaffirming the Department’s commitment to academic excellence, quality research, and innovation in Urdu studies
