Advancing Environmental Sustainability: Dr Shaista Shafiq Nominated as Expert Member

In recognition of her distinguished expertise and significant contributions to the fields of Environmental and Industrial Biotechnology, Dr Shaista Shafiq, Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology and Advisor, Environmental Society, has been nominated as an Expert Member of the Environmental Approval Committee, Faisalabad Division.

The Committee has been constituted by the Government of the Punjab, Environment Protection and Climate Change Department, to support the review and assessment of environmental matters and projects in the Faisalabad Division. Her nomination reflects her professional excellence, academic expertise, and valuable contributions to environmental sustainability, biotechnology, and the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
