World Sandwich Day is celebrated on November 3 every year around the globe. Hence, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics also celebrated in that regard. The purpose of this activity was to come up with new innovative recipes of making sandwiches focusing on making them nutritionally dense, flavorful and palatable.
Sandwich is a favorite food of all young and old because it can come in different flavors. It is among the most versatile snacks. It is even one of the most popular lunch items. It is widely known as a delicious food in almost all cultures. National Sandwich Day has been introduced to better enjoy the sandwich. With regards to this day students of Department of Nutrition and Dietetics semester V prepared beautifully crafted sandwiches packed with variety of options.
