Wave FM 96.6 Celebrated 11 Years of Excellence in Educational Broadcasting

The University of Faisalabad’s radio station, Wave FM 96.6, marked its 11th anniversary with a grand ceremony held at the university campus. The anniversary celebration was attended by Prof Dr Amanullah Malik, Rector, TUF, and Dr Zahida Maqbool, Registrar, TUF, while the Chief Guest of the ceremony was Director Information, Malik Maqbool Ahmed. The celebration featured skits and musical performances by the students of The University of Faisalabad, which were warmly appreciated by the audience.

In his remarks, Chief Guest Malik Maqbool Ahmed congratulated the management of Wave FM 96.6 and commended the station’s exceptional performance, describing it as a model for educational and infotainment broadcasting. Dr Amanullah Malik, in his remarks, highlighted that Wave FM 96.6 has been playing a vital role in promoting knowledge, awareness, and positivity through the power of voice. He further expressed confidence that the station will continue its mission of education and entertainment with the same dedication in the years ahead. In recognition of the valuable contributions of the members of the radio team, appreciation awards were presented to them by the Rector and the Registrar of TUF.
