Use of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Teaching & Clinical Practice

A webinar on "Use of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Teaching and Clinical Practice " was conducted at University Medical and Dental College as part of the ongoing Faculty development workshops on April 14, 2023. Prof Dr Rehan Ahmed Khan, Dean Assessment and Head Department of Surgery, Riphah International University facilitated the session.

 

 

It was an interactive session and the apprehension of clinicians and teachers that the overuse of online apps can hurt the medical teaching was discussed in detail. Moreover ethical and moral issues of using Artificial intelligence was deliberated in detail. The session was well attended by UMDC faculty, prominent national and international clinicians, Surgeons, Medical educationists and students alike.
