The APSUP Olympiad 2025 Faisalabad Chapter hosted by TUF, began with exciting cricket and athletics competitions featuring enthusiastic participation from various public and private sector universities. A total of 15 athletic events were organized, including 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, and 5000m races, discus throw, and high jump, hammer throw and long jump, among other track and field events.
TUF players bagged 14 gold medals in races, high jump, hammer throw and Javelin throw. TUFIANS also won 10 silver and 4 bronze medals. In the men’s cricket competition, the opening match was played between Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) and The University of Faisalabad (TUF). GCUF set a target of 117 runs in 20 overs, which was successfully chased by TUF, marking an impressive victory.
In the women’s cricket match, TUF also triumphed over Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), showcasing outstanding teamwork and skill. The APSUP Olympiad continues to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition among university students, reflecting APSUP’s commitment to youth development and inter-university collaboration.
