Good Health and Well-being
In a powerful stride toward civic responsibility, Center of Collective Activities , in collaboration with the National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP), conducted a high-impact seminar dedicated to the mission of road safety. Designed to instill a culture of discipline and vigilance, the event transformed the campus into a hub of strategic learning, aiming to mold students into the next generation of Responsible Road Ambassadors.
The Strategic Blueprint: The 3Es of Safety
The seminar was anchored by the globally recognized "3Es" framework—Education, Engineering, and Enforcement. This holistic approach provided students with a deep understanding of how infrastructure, legislative rigor, and public awareness converge to save lives on Pakistan’s national arteries.
A Call to Discipline
The event was graced by Mr Nadeem Ashraf Warraich, SSP/Sector Commander, NHMP, as the Chief Guest. In a commanding keynote address, Mr. Warraich provided a strategic briefing on the pillars of highway discipline.
• Institutional Synergy: He underscored the vital importance of partnerships between law enforcement and academic institutions in shaping a law-abiding society.
• Digital Safety Nets: He highlighted the technological advancements of the NHMP, urging students to utilize the 130 Helpline and the Hamsafar App as essential tools for secure travel.

Technical Mastery: The FLOWER Method & Defensive Driving
A specialized technical session was led by Rana Irfan Ahmed, Road Safety Officer, NHMP, who introduced students to the FLOWER Method—a comprehensive pre-journey protocol:
Fuel | Lights | Oil | Water | Electrics | Rubber (Tyres)
Beyond mechanical fitness, Officer Ahmed delved into the psychology of the road, addressing the "Red Mist" (road rage) and the catastrophic consequences of mobile phone distractions. By citing the sobering reality of 1.19 million annual global road fatalities, he challenged the audience to adopt proactive speed management and mental discipline as a life-saving necessity.
Inspiring Civic Duty
The seminar also featured Ms Samina Sarwat, DSP, NHMP, and Ms Naseem Malik, Line Officer, NHMP, both of whom delivered stirring calls to action. They encouraged the student body to view road safety not merely as a set of rules, but as a profound civic duty to protect human life.
To conclude the event, the university presented honorary souvenirs to Mr Nadeem Ashraf Warraich, Rana Irfan Ahmed, Ms Samina Sarwat, and Ms Naseem Malik. These awards served as a tribute to their unwavering commitment to public safety and their role in fostering a safer, more disciplined Pakistan.
