One day study tour was conducted by Department of Optometry (OD-7th semester) at Pak Lamps (P.V.T) L.T.D Lahore on November-26-2021.
Pak Lamps (P.V.T) L.T.D is a manufacturing unit, Producing incandescent bulb and glass utensils of various varieties. It was supervised by Dr. Ammara Affi. More than 100 workers were screened out for ocular emergencies and ocular conditions. Medication and glasses were prescribed, as well as awareness about safety eye-wares is guided.
The owner and administration staff of Pak Lamps (P.V.T) L.T.D highly appreciates the efforts of TUF and expressed the desire that study tour should be organized in order to give students more confidence about their field. The University of Faisalabad is now preparing to conduct more eye health screening tours across the country. Department of Optometry aims to extend its services and to make their students more professional and skillful.
