Students of Mass Communication and International Relations Visit PTV News Headquarters, Islamabad

The students from the Departments of Mass Communication and International Relations embarked on an exciting and educational study tour to PTV News Headquarters, Islamabad. The visit, organized and guided by Mr Awais Sattar, Lecturer, National Business School, provided 20 enthusiastic learners with an invaluable opportunity to explore the dynamic world of broadcast journalism and media operations.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by Mr Hassan Tariq Butt, Public Relations Officer at PTV News. The tour offered an insightful behind-the-scenes experience of Pakistan’s national television network, where students observed the various stages of news production and broadcasting. During the visit, students explored the Newsroom and Studios, witnessing live recordings and the fast-paced environment of television journalism.

They also visited the PCR (Production Control Room) and MCR (Master Control Room) to understand the technical aspects that ensure smooth and professional news transmission. At the International News Desk, students learned how PTV News represents Pakistan’s perspective on global platforms and manages international news coverage.
