The Department of Islamic Studies, in collaboration with the Islamic Philosophical Society, organized an inspiring seminar on the Teachings and Legacy of Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (R.A). The event aimed to enlighten students about the timeless teachings and spiritual legacy of Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (R.A.), emphasizing their relevance to character building in the modern era.
Prof Dr Matloob Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, delivered an enlightening address on “Character Building in the Current Student Era in the Light of Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani’s Teachings.” He encouraged students to draw moral and spiritual guidance from the saint’s life to strengthen their ethical and academic pursuits. Mufti Dr Farhan Akhter, the guest speaker, shared valuable insights on “The Life and Legacy of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (R.A.)”, highlighting his contributions to Islamic scholarship and spirituality. The session also featured an engaging quiz competition on the biography and teachings of the revered saint, with enthusiastic participation from students of various departments.
