Seminar on “Postcolonial Studies”

Department of English Language and Literature arranged a seminar on “Literature through Postcolonial Lens” on 8th December 2022. Dr Muhammad Asif was the guest speaker. He discussed different phases of Postcolonialism.

 

 

He also emphasized on the significance of Pakistani Literature in English and its relevance with postcolonial World. Furthermore, he highlighted an interesting point regarding the preference on either “Department of English Literature” or “Department of Literature in English”.
