Participation of TUF as Silver Sponsor in the International Rehabilitation and Allied Health Sciences Conference 2025

The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, TUF, proudly participated as a Silver Sponsor in the 5th International Conference on Rehabilitation Sciences (ICRS) and the 2nd International Conference on Allied Health Sciences (ICAHS), held from October 3–6, 2025. Under the central theme “Community-Oriented, Outcome-Based Research and Practice,” the conference brought together global experts, educators, and practitioners to discuss the latest advancements in rehabilitation and allied health sciences.

The event commenced with the International Pre-Conference Workshop (PCW-I), marking the official start of the three-day academic event. The opening session set the stage for global collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange among rehabilitation and allied health professionals from around the world. The plenary session offered valuable insights into evidence-based physiotherapy, integrating neuroscience, biomechanics, and ethics in rehabilitation. It highlighted progressive approaches such as movement control, neuroplasticity, pediatric rehabilitation, AI in community care, and innovative interventions for musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. Experts from around the world shared advancements in AI-driven research, ultrasound applications, and simulation-based education, inspiring participants to embrace evidence-based, technology-driven, and patient-centered physiotherapy practices. At the closing ceremony, Dr Marium Zafar, Head of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at The University of Faisalabad, received a recognition award for her active participation in the international conference.

This conference supported the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Good Health and Well-Being, Quality Education, Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure & Partnerships for the Goals. Through its active engagement in ICRS & ICAHS 2025, The University of Faisalabad reaffirmed its dedication to advancing innovation, quality education, and sustainable healthcare. The seminar on “Enhancing Laboratory Education through Digital Innovation” demonstrated how technology-driven learning can revolutionize rehabilitation education and strengthen global academic partnerships.
