NBS Faculty Participate in National Workshop on Traditional & Islamic Banking

The National Business School (NBS) proudly highlights the active participation of its distinguished faculty members in a One-Day Workshop on Comparative Perspectives of Traditional & Islamic Banking. The workshop was jointly organized by the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) in collaboration with NIBAF–State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and Meezan Bank Limited, and was hosted by the Centre of Islamic Finance, IBMS, UAF. The event aimed to enhance understanding of conventional and Islamic banking systems while strengthening academia–industry linkages.

Representing The University of Faisalabad with distinction were Ms Rimsha Shahid, Ms Memona Javed, Dr Rizwanullah, and Dr Usman Ali. Their active engagement, scholarly insights, and valuable contributions added depth to the discussions on Islamic finance and modern banking practices, reflecting NBS’s strong commitment to professional development and financial education.
