The University of Faisalabad organized a powerful and intellectually stimulating session titled “Understanding Iqbal: Faith, Struggle, and Resistance of Palestine.” The event focused on shedding light on Allama Muhammad Iqbal's timeless philosophy, exploring themes of spiritual awakening, selfhood (Khudi), and the fight against injustice. The core of the discussion connected Iqbal’s enduring ideas with the ongoing Palestinian struggle. Speakers emphasized how his message—centered on dignity, courage, and collective awakening—continues to inspire oppressed nations and movements for liberation around the world.

TUF was honored to host a panel of distinguished speakers whose profound insights enriched the dialogue:

  • Senator (R) Mushtaq Ahmad Khan
  • Ms Syeda Saima Kamran, International Poet
  • Prof Dr Zafar Ali Chaudhry, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, Vice Chancellor, Faisalabad Medical University

Their contributions encouraged students to deeply reflect on Iqbal’s vision as a guiding light for justice and humanity, reinforcing the critical role of academic thought in addressing contemporary global crises.
