The Aviators Club organized a special event to celebrate International Air Traffic Controllers’ Day, recognizing the critical role of air traffic controllers in maintaining global aviation safety and operational excellence. The session featured Mr Naveed ul Hassan, Senior Deputy Director, Air Traffic Services (ATS), Pakistan Airports Authority, as the Chief Guest and keynote speaker. During his insightful address, Mr. Naveed discussed the core competencies, operational workflows, and evolving challenges faced by air traffic controllers in today’s dynamic aviation landscape.


The event reflected TUF’s strong commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practice. By engaging experienced aviation professionals with students, the University continues to promote experiential learning, mentorship, and innovation in aviation education. The interactive discussion enhanced students’ understanding of real-world ATC operations, safety protocols, and decision-making processes, inspiring them to pursue professional excellence in aviation management and airspace safety. Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
