ICASE-2025 Pre-Conference Workshop

The 3rd International Conference on Advanced STEAM Education (ICASE-2025) officially kicked off its preparatory phase with a rigorous and highly interactive pre-conference seminar. We were honored to host Prof Dr Nadeem Javed for his critical discourse titled: "Disease Prediction at the Early Stage Through Artificial Intelligence: An Urgent Need of the Current and Future Era."

This seminar offered a deep dive into the technical imperative of integrating AI into early disease diagnostics. It also addressed a crucial philosophical dimension: debating whether the emergence of 'Agentic AI' reflects genuine machine agency or merely an algorithmic simulation crafted by complex deep learning architectures. The interaction highlighted the need for robust ethical frameworks governing autonomous medical systems.

This successful and high-impact seminar was a collaborative effort between the Office of the Dean of Clinical Research and the Department of Dermal Sciences, perfectly aligning with the interdisciplinary mission of ICASE-2025.
