Hands-on Practice of Eye Wears

Department of Optometry, TUF organized a workshop on "Hands-on Practice of Eye Wears" in Optometry Lab on November 24, 2022. The workshop was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Nimra Gul and Dr. Ammara Affi.

Students from BS Optometry 5th Semester and 9th semester participated and learned spectacle lens produced performing marking, cutting, edging, and fitting respectively. Clinical knowledge regarding spectacle production and the use of different spectacles according to the profession was also delivered by the experts. Certificates were awarded to participants, speakers, and organizers at the end of the workshop.
