Good Health and Well-being
The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences conducted an educational and outreach visit to the Child Dream Center, Faisalabad. The activity aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the real-world challenges faced by children with special needs while promoting empathy, inclusion, and community engagement. Participants interacted with children and staff, observed classroom and therapy sessions, and distributed gifts and goodies as a gesture of care and encouragement.
The experience left a lasting emotional and educational impact, helping students appreciate the resilience of differently-abled children and understand the importance of teamwork, compassion, and multidisciplinary collaboration in rehabilitation. Aligned with SDG-3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG-4 (Quality Education), the visit offered students valuable insight into therapeutic, educational, and psychological rehabilitation approaches.
