The festival of opportunities, Career Link 2023 held at Amin campus of The University of Faisalabad on March 16, 2023. Placement Bureau, TUF offered this exceptional opportunity for TUFIANS to explore a wide range of career possibilities and connect with reputable companies actively seeking qualified candidates.

With a focus on fostering valuable connections and facilitating the recruitment process, this event aimed to bridge the gap between talented graduates and prospective employers. More than 50 renowned companies established their booths at the career link arena where massive number of graduates presented their profiles.

Mr Muhammad Haider Amin, Chairman BOG inaugurated the mega event. In his address, he emphasized the importance of making full use of such opportunities to contribute to the revival of the country's economy. He also expressed his appreciation for all the registered companies participating in Career Link. Later, he visited the different booths, interacting with the participating companies and gaining insight into the various opportunities available.

A panel discussion was held on the skills and financial independence of graduates, in which experts offered their opinions and suggestions. The event provided a unique opportunity for both graduates and employers to connect and explore opportunities. Hundreds of graduates appeared in interviews, seeking suitable professional positions in various organizations.

The management of TUF worked as a team to make the event a success and provided a true flavor of professional life to the students, where they received master guidelines regarding grooming and prepared themselves for the challenging world ahead. The event concluded with a note of thanks from Ms Zahida Maqbool, Additional Registrar, who wished everyone good luck.

Overall, Career Link 2023 was a magnificent exhibition of professionalism, passion, dedication, and skills that ended on a high note. The TUF management's efforts made the event an example in the history of industry-academia linkages. It is hoped that such events will be held more often in the coming years, as per the vision of the Chairman BOG.
