Annual Sports Gala 2023

The University of Faisalabad held its annual Sports Gala 2023 in both Amin and Saleem campuses. The mega event was inaugurated by the worthy Rector, Professor Meritorious Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman and witnessed a colorful and exciting opening ceremony. The Rector took an oath from all participants to maintain fair play and discipline in the games.

 

 

Over the course of five days, students from various disciplines participated in different sports and displayed remarkable sports spirit and teamwork. The university provides the best possible opportunities for grooming its students, and the Sports Gala was no exception.

 

 

Ms Silwat Saeed, Commissioner Faisalabad, was the honorable chief guest for the closing ceremony. She added to the celebratory atmosphere of the occasion, which witnessed some amazing performances and exciting encounters among different departments.

 

 

The students' dedication and hard work were evident as they competed in various sports including table tennis, cricket, throw ball, badminton, net ball, and other athletics. Trophies and certificates were awarded to the winners and Faiza Tariq from the Department of Physical Therapy was declared the best player of the tournament.

The Department of Physical Therapy team grabbed the first position and received the general trophy in Saleem campus, while the Department of Optometry secured the second position, and the Pharmacy team remained third. In Amin campus, the Faculty of Management Sciences secured the first position, followed by the Faculty of Pharmacy in second place and the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences in third.

The students' reactions were filled with excitement and joy as they cheered on their peers who won first, second, and third place. The Sports Gala 2023 was a grand event that witnessed participation from students from various disciplines of TUF, and provided a platform for them to showcase their sports skills and teamwork.
