Alumni Meet 2025: A Narrative Celebrating Success and Strengthening TUF’s Worldwide Professional Network

TUF Alumni Meet 2025 was a record-breaking event, demonstrating the University’s robust commitment to its graduates and strengthening its global network. This flagship gathering set a new benchmark for community engagement and professional collaboration.

I. Record-Breaking Participation & Scope  
The event witnessed participation from over 1,000 Alumni, students, and faculty—the strongest demonstration of community engagement in TUF's history.

  • Multi-Generational Connection: Graduates representing more than 15 diverse batches reunited, reaffirming the enduring, multi-generational bond with the Alma Mater. 
  • Global Footprint: The gathering highlighted TUF's international success, featuring alumni currently serving in more than 7 countries, underscoring the University’s significant global reach and professional impact. 
     

II. Strategic Professional Outcomes  

The Meet was a dynamic platform for mentorship and career development:

  • Dedicated Mentorship: A highly successful 3-Hour dedicated Mentorship Session was conducted.
  • Tangible Results: This session successfully generated over 50 potential career collaborations and mentorship pairings, ensuring a direct investment in the success of current students and young graduates.

 III. Visionary Leadership and Institutional Commitment
The proceedings, which commenced with a dignified and inspiring Opening Ceremony, were graced by key dignitaries whose addresses reinforced TUF’s strategic vision:

  • President, Alumni Association (Mr Muneeb Mustafa): Delivered a compelling message underscoring the alumni's indispensable role as the "Cornerstone of TUF’s Strength."
  • Rector, TUF (Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik): Focused on vision, innovation, and global impact, formally designating alumni as TUF’s true brand ambassadors shaping the university’s trajectory.
  • Registrar, TUF (Dr Zahida Maqbool): Extended the official welcome, emphasizing themes of community and networking, and affirming unequivocally that alumni success remains TUF’s greatest legacy and highest institutional investment.
     

 IV. The Knowledge Hub: Networking & Mentorship Session 

The dedicated session was hosted at the intellectual heart of the campus, the Noor-e-Siddiq-e-Akbar Library, transforming the space into a dynamic hub for professional exchange.

  • Focus: The session facilitated the sharing of critical career journeys, industry insights, and focused mentorship, underscoring TUF’s enduring commitment to collaborative professional development and knowledge transfer.
     

V.  Honoring Achievement: Awards Distribution Ceremony 

The Awards Distribution Ceremony was strategically used to honor the driving forces behind the Alumni Association's success: 

Farhan Murtaza - MBA, CEO of Insight Avian; recipient of the Alumni of the year (male) award (Passing out year 2008)

Amina Arshad - BS in English Language & Literature, IB-certified educationist at Angels International School; recipient of the Alumni of the year (female) award (Passing out year 2022)

Muhammad Muneeb Mustafa - Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Senior Transmission Manager at Orange Line Metro Train; recipient of the Inspiring Alumni of the year 2025 award (passing out year 2016).

Ambreen Cheena - MBA, Vice President at the National Bank of Pakistan; recipient of the Alumni Spotlght of the year 2025 award (passing out year 2008)

Award of Excellence Recipients 

Muhammad Nawaz Bajwa — Highly accomplished sports professional and media fitness expert. Achievements include Mr Faisalabad Gold Medalist, Pakistan Muscle Physique Gold Medalist (2018), and Mr Pakistan Medalist (2017). An Internationally Certified Fitness Trainer.

Muhammad Shoaib — MBA, trade and marketing specialist (15+ years of experience) and GSP Officer at TDAP. Also consults SMEs and startups on e-commerce, digital branding, and AI-driven solutions. (Passing-out Year: 2012)

Ahsan Mehmood — BBA, entrepreneur whose brand, “gol socks,” is among the largest and finest sock manufacturers in Pakistan. (Passing-out Year: 2007)

Muhammad Badar Ali — MBA, Manager Customer Operations at PTCL, and entrepreneur at Ali Enterprises; has established two enterprises and is also recognized as a social and political worker. (Passing-out Year: 2009)

Fiza Nadeem — Doctor of Medical Laboratory Sciences, serves as Vice President of the Alumni Association and Medical Laboratory Technologist at Sanabel Ventures (Venus Aesthetics). (Passing-out Year: 2022)

Rabia Liaqat — Doctor of Physical Therapy, serves as Additional Secretary of the Alumni Association and a practicing physiotherapist. (Passing-out Year: 2022)

  • Vibrant Entertainment: The fun and entertainment segment was highly dynamic, featuring over 10 engaging performances, including drama, comedy acts, captivating live music, and a soulful Sufi performance that deeply resonated with the audience.
  • Alumni Cricket Match: A highly anticipated cricket match between spirited alumni teams added a significant element of competitive excitement and camaraderie to the day's entertainment agenda, drawing large crowds and fostering spirited cheering among the different batches.
  • Lively Marketplace: A lively marketplace thrived at the Dr Abdul Qadeer Ground throughout the day. It featured 15+ Gourmet Food Stalls and booths from prominent companies, adding both commercial engagement and continuous excitement. 
  • Spectacular Closing: The event reached its grand culmination at Dr Abdul Qadeer Ground with a breathtaking evening spectacle, featuring a powerful Bonfire and a mesmerizing Sky Lanterns Show, all set to dynamic live music. This provided a warm, reflective, and unforgettable conclusion to a landmark year for the Alumni Association.
