The 10th Academic Studies Congress (X ASC), organized under the umbrella of the Academician Council—an international consortium of scholars and researchers—was successfully hosted by the National Business School at TUF. Themed “People, Planet, and Peace in the Age of AI,” the congress served as a global platform for academic and industry experts to exchange ideas and insights on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in shaping sustainable societies.


Prof Dr Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmad, Dean Faculty of Management Studies, TUF, one of the pioneer members of the Academician Council, played a key role in the event’s success. The two-day congress welcomed 22 international delegates from various countries along with prominent national academic and industry partners, including the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), National Textile University (NTU), Lahore Leads University, Ghazi University Dera Ghazi Khan, and MNS University Multan (MNSUM).


Industry leaders from organizations such as FCCI, Tapal Tea Pvt. Ltd., NayaTel, Kamal Textile, MK Sons, Klash Pvt. Ltd., and Midas Safety Pakistan also participated, contributing to insightful discussions and strengthening academia-industry linkages.


The event featured keynote speeches, academic paper presentations, and a panel discussion moderated by Mr. Sharjeel Yousaf (Lecturer, NBS), with distinguished panelists including Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali (VC, UAF), Prof Dr Nadeem Bhatti (VC, Lahore Leads University), and Dr Habib Aslam Gaba (President, FCCI). The dialogue centered on leveraging AI for sustainable development and global peace.


Over 300 research papers were presented during the congress, with selected works under review for publication in Scopus-indexed journals. A major highlight was the signing of three Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) between The University of Faisalabad and: 1. Academician Studies Council (ASC) 2. Lahore Leads University 3. Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan These collaborations aim to strengthen faculty and student exchange programs, joint research projects, and academic cooperation across institutions.


The congress concluded with a Networking Dinner, celebrating successful collaboration among academia and industry. On behalf of the organizing committee, the Congress Chair extended heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman BoG, Rector, and Registrar of The University of Faisalabad for their continued guidance and support in making the 10th ASC a resounding success.
