OBJECTIVES

By the end of this degree students will be able

  • To apply advanced knowledge of biological, chemical, and physical principles in cosmetic and dermatological product formulation.
  • To analyze and utilize active ingredients, delivery systems, and formulation strategies to develop effective cosmetic products.
  • To integrate pharmaceutical sciences with cosmetic formulations to create products offering both aesthetic and therapeutic benefits.
  • To evaluate the safety, efficacy, and stability of cosmetic products using advanced testing methods.
  • To navigate regulatory frameworks, good manufacturing practices, and ethical practices in the development of cosmetic products.
  • To design, innovate, and develop cosmetic and cosmeceutical products for diverse market needs.

ROLE AND SCOPE

By the end of this program, the graduates will:

  1. Have a solid foundation of academics and research in cosmo-pharmaceutical science with an ability to emphatically impart technical expertise for a wide range of career options.
  2. Be able to establish a research-based community comprising of qualified cosmo-pharmacists, show excellence in innovative research and apply knowledge for upgrading of the health care system.
