This curriculum has been designed with the vision to enhance students’ literary taste, research orientation, and literary knowledge, so that they may contribute significantly to the promotion of Urdu language and literature in the future.

The mission of the Urdu Department is to promote the intellectual and mental development of students and researchers while promoting a deep interest in the study of Urdu language and literature. By nurturing a strong culture of research, the department aims to equip graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to meet national needs, particularly in the field of Urdu, and to enable meaningful participation in research initiatives at the global level.
