Department of English Language and Literature aims to project the critical significance of parallel and sometimes inseparable disciplines of Linguistics, Literature and, Language in English.
The Department is committed to re-endorse an enriching research-based pedagogic compound of synchronic and diachronic perspectives on language, with the reference to both form and meaning.
It is also concerned with elusive nuances involved in the experience of aesthetics applying aesthetic principles on the works of literature.
The Department of English is focused on the hybridity of this program for the students’ understanding through deciphering techniques of writing in English.
To foster an understanding of the cultural, historical, and social contexts in which the english language and literature are situated, promoting cross-cultural awareness, empathy, and respect for diverse perspectives.
