TUF Event Mobile App Privacy Policy:

TUF Event mobile app is designed specifically for The University of Faisalabad students only. It provides users with the ability to register for university events and attend them.

The University of Faisalabad care about privacy and security of student’s personal information.

The Information we collect:

  • Only registered students, Alumni, and Faculty of The University of Faisalabad can sign up on this app with his/her student registration number or Employee code for faculty.

  • Outsiders can register using their email id and CNIC number.

  • Student can access or sign in this app using an officially provided email from The University of Faisalabad to their students.

  • There is no other information is collected from student except student registration number and student email.

  • The information we collect from student did not share with third party or any other user.

App Permissions:

    TUF Event mobile app grant some permissions from user to provide smooth and unbreakable experience to user.

  • Internet Permission:
    App needs internet permission to connect with backend services.

  • Storage Permission:
    App needs storage permission to download or Upload student event voucher and Gate Pass.

  • Camera Permission:
    App needs camera permission to scan user gate pass QR code for check in to the event.

Children Privacy:

  • Our application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not collect any personal information about children through our application.

Account Deletion & Data Retention:

  • As an institutional platform serving the University of Faisalabad community, user accounts are permanently linked to official academic and administrative records. Accounts cannot be deleted directly through the app to preserve the integrity of these records and ensure compliance with university data retention policies. Users who wish to request account deactivation or removal of personal data must follow the official procedure through the University Student Affairs Office. Please note that certain academic records may be retained indefinitely as required by law and institutional policy.

CNIC Collection & Usage:

  • The app requires users to provide their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number during registration. This information is collected exclusively for the purpose of verifying the user's affiliation with the University of Faisalabad. The CNIC is cross-referenced with official university records to authenticate identity and confirm that the user is a current student, alumni, or faculty member. This verification is essential to the app's core functionality, as it ensures that only authorized individuals can access university-specific services and information.
