Gender Equality
The University of Faisalabad hosted the 4th HEC All Pakistan Intervarsity Women Boxing Championship 2025–26 from November 4 to 6, 2025, uniting talented female boxers from universities across the country in a spirited display of strength, skill, and determination.
The championship was inaugurated at the Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan Ground, TUF, with a grand opening ceremony attended by the Rector, Registrar, distinguished guests, faculty members, and students.
A special highlight of the opening ceremony of mega event was the participation of chief guest, Ms Ayesha Mumtaz, a proud boxer from Sargodha, who is a World Silver Medalist (China 2025), ASBC Asian Bronze Medalist (Abu Dhabi 2024), three-time National Gold Medalist, and two-time Pakistan Premier Boxing Title winner.

Adding to the excitement, students of TUF presented a captivating Gymnastics and Formation Demonstration, symbolizing strength, balance, and unity — the true essence of sportsmanship.
The championship concluded on November 6, 2025, with an energetic closing ceremony that celebrated the remarkable performances of participating athletes.


Final Results Overall:
University of Punjab won 3 gold and 1 silver medals while University of Management and Technology won 3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals. Lahore College for Women University bagged 2 gold 3 bronze and The University of Faisalabad 1 gold 4 bronze medals.
The Rector and Registrar of TUF graced the closing ceremony and awarded trophies and cash prizes to the winning teams, appreciating the participants for their outstanding performances, dedication, and sportsmanship. Their presence brought immense encouragement and motivation to all competing athletes, marking the event as a memorable celebration of women’s empowerment through sports.
