Department of Design & Interiors Celebrated Creativity and Innovation at Degree Show 2026
The Department of Design & Interiors, TUF, successfully organized Degree Show 2026, a vibrant celebration of creativity, innovation, craftsmanship, and design excellence. The exhibition showcased the exceptional thesis projects and creative work of final year students in Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Master of Interior Design at TUF.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Rector, TUF. Ms Afsheen Javaid, Head, Department of Architecture, Ms Saba Afzal, Acting Head, Department of Design & Interiors, Heads of other Departments, and distinguished guests visited the exhibition stalls and appreciated the students’ outstanding creativity, technical expertise, craftsmanship, and innovative projects.
The event featured Graphic Design and Interior Design Thesis Project Evaluations, with distinguished academicians serving as jury members. Mr Kashif Rafique, Associate Professor, Institute for Art and Culture (IAC), and Ms Zain Manzoor, Assistant Professor, Government College Women University Faisalabad, evaluated the Graphic Design thesis projects. The Interior Design projects were evaluated by Ar. Saad Mujahid, Assistant Professor, University of the Punjab, and Ar. Faiqa Khan, Assistant Professor, University of Management and Technology (UMT). The jurors shared valuable insights, constructive feedback, and professional guidance to support the students’ academic and creative development.
The Degree Show was further enriched by the visit of Dr Habib Aslam Gaba, Convener, FCCI Standing Committee on Industry–Academia Linkages, Policy Advocacy, and SDGs. During his visit, he explored the innovative thesis projects presented by students of the Department of Design & Interiors and appreciated their talent, creativity, and dedication. He also shared valuable insights on strengthening the bridge between academia and industry. The event concluded with an Award Distribution Ceremony, where distinguished guests recognized and appreciated the achievements, dedication, and artistic excellence of the participating students.
