RULES GOVERNING SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AWARDS:

 
i. Scholarship will be provided for payment of tuition fee whereas all other applicable fixed charges (i.e admission fee, registration fee, examination, degree fee etc) will have to be paid by the student.
 
ii.A student will be eligible for one scholarship only. In case a student is eligible for two or more scholarships, the one with highest amount will be awarded and the rest will be withdrawn.
 
iii.Continuation of need based & study support/ aid scholarships, in subsequent semesters, will be subject to maintenance of CGPA not less than 2.50 for Undergraduate programs, 3.00 for Masters Programs, and 3.25 for MS/M.Phil/Phd Programs
 
iv. For merit scholarship, if the student gets 1 F grade in his/her respective degree program, his/her scholarship will be reverted irrevocably.
 
v. It is mandatory for every scholarship/ financial assistance holder to finish his/ her enrolled program in the prescribed minimum duration of the program. No extension of award will be provided beyond the standard duration of the course/degree.
 
vi.If a student getting scholarship or financial assistance discontinues his/her studies for consecutive two semesters and would like to resume his/her studies later shall be treated as a new applicant for admission and all fee, awards, rights and privileges shall be allowed accordingly.
 
vii. In case of study support (Qarz-e-Hasna), degree will be issued when the student fully pays back Qarz-e- Hasana in 5 to 10 years after the completion of degree. The student shall repay Qarz-e-hasna in equal monthly installments starting at the end of one month from the date of his/her first employment or at the end of six months from the date of his/her completion of the program at University, whichever is earlier
 
vii i. In case of any disciplinary breach, involvement in political, unethical activities and/or in activities against the interest(s) of the University or its authorities shall be liable to disciplinary action and shall result in withdrawal of all financial awards, discounts and privileges, whatsoever.
 
ix. If a student receiving merit scholarship fails to achieve the minimum eligible CGPA to maintain the scholarship in a semester, he/she will not be awarded the scholarship in that semester. However, the scholarship will be revived when the student succeeds to maintain the CGPA in the forthcoming semester.
 
x. If a student getting scholarship or financial assistance repeats a course, he/she shall be charged with the full fee for the re-enrollment of the course credit hour wise.
