School of Optometry organized one day hands on practice workshop on November 26, 2018. Guest speaker Mr Hakim Ajum Nadeem, Incharge Dispensing and Opticianry Lab, King Edward Medical University in collaboration with Optix One trained students in basic knowledge of ophthalmic dispensing, fitting lenses in frames, surfacing and glazing.
A Spiritual Mehfil e Milaad in connection with the Eid Miladdun Nabi (SAW) held at The University of Faisalabad Engineering Campus. The spiritual ceremony was attended by Samuel Sharoop Shaier, a renowned Socio-Religious activist & philanthropist from Washington DC America, Faculty members and a large number of students. The proceedings of the spiritual ceremony got underway by the recitation of the Holy Quran and came to an end with Dua.

The University of Faisalabad presents Faisalabad Startup Summit 2018 as a visionary initiative for the creative & passionate Students of the School of Management Studies,School of computational sciences and School of interior designing providing them the opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial projects in an EXPO-like environment. The aim is to create impact driven work that focuses on showcasing entrepreneurs, connecting them to relevant networks and various marketing channels, while gauging the possibilities for collaborations, partnerships and attracting prospective investors for the Startup Ideas of our Students.
Awareness program was organized on the eve of World Diabetes day in The University of Faisalabad on November 14, 2018. Speaking on the occasion Prof Dr Zahid Masood disclosed that according to a recent survey around 26 percent of Pakistani population might be suffering from diabetes and there was no significant difference between rural and urban population, he added. There were one new case of diabetes every three seconds and one death every 6 second due to diabetes. Prof Mirza Akmal Sharif spoke on the role diabetic clinic and patient education in management of Diabetes. Dr Rehan spoke on the effects of diabetes on heart. Large number of faculty members and students attended the program. This was followed by an awareness walk.
A Mehfl Milad-e-Mustafa (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) was held for females at TUF on November 13, 2018. Students from TUF, University College for Women and University Cambridge School participated in the Mehfil. After recitation of the Holy Quran, students oﬀered Naat-e-Rasool Maqbool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam), Darood-o-Salam, Qaseeda Burda Sharif, Qaseeda Ghausia and Manaqabe-Ehl-e-Bait (Alaehimus-Salam). Famous Naat Khawan Ms Hooria Faheem Qadri, Ms Ayesha Batool and students oﬀered Naats with deep devotion. Participants expressed their immense love and deep aﬀection for beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) and renewed their pledge to truly follow ‘Seerat-un-Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam). All the audience felt spiritually elevated and bonded together as they listened to the holy recitals. The Mehfl-e-Milad ended with Drood o Salam and an overwhelming, heart touching ‘Dua’ for the unity of Muslim Ummah and stability of Pakistan. Faculty members and mothers of the students also attended the spiritual event
