The University of Faisalabad’s School of Arabic and Islamic Sciences conducted a workshop on “Research Methodology” in Health Sciences Campus. The workshop was led by experts in the field of Islamic Sciences. The facilitator, Dr Ammara Rehman guided the students about the use of different software in Islamic research. She also told about useful websites and links. Moreover, the Research Workshop engaged students and faculty active in the field of Islamic Studies around current methodological questions.
Certificates were distributed among the participants
The workshop showcased novel and established methods and draws special attention to the burgeoning potential of the Digital Humanities. Besides offering intellectual and logistical support, the workshop connected researchers to the various libraries, research institutes and other services at TUF with the aim of fostering research opportunities and collaboration. At the end of the workshop, certificates were distributed among the participants. The guest speaker also emphasized the need of organizing similar training workshops on an annual basis.
