Arts and Design Society under the umbrella of the School of Interior Design conducted an art therapy session to bring out our emotional and psychological sensibilities in the form of Masquerades. The Art session was conducted using recycle paper only and students were required to come up with a Mask representing an essential set of phenomenological attributes driven from their own personality, a life-altering event or experience or any other influencing concept, with a strong rationale of whichever prompt they decide to work with/on. Where masks are used to hide one’s emotions this session helped students to identify that they can not only be exaggerating them in their representation but also articulate a strong concept based on their conscious socio-physical experience in their design.
