Organization of Teaching


5.1 Teaching in each School shall be organized through courses specified by lectures, tutorials, seminars, demonstrations and practical work in laboratories, field work, project, internship, or any other method of instruction approved by the University.

5.2 Teaching in each School shall be conducted by the teachers or such other persons as may be declared to be a teacher by the University.

5.3 The teacher shall provide detailed course outline to the students within one week of the beginning of the semester and shall send a copy of the course outlines and work plan to the Head of school, Registrar and Controller of Examinations.

5.3.1 Each teacher shall maintain his/her Course File comprising the following: Description of course/course objectives. Course coding. Weekly teaching schedule Dates of mid-semester examination Grading policy will identity each activity. Such as homework , quizzes mid- semester examination, final examination and term papers etc Copy of each homework assignment. Copy of each quiz assigned. Copy of question papers for mid semester examination. Copy of question papers for final semester examination. Grading sheet of the courses, detailed statistical data on the grades obtained by students Difficulties/problems faced by the teacher and students during class-room/course delivery.

5.3.2 English shall be the medium of instructions and examinations in each discipline except where otherwise specified e.g., Arabic for MA Arabic, Urdu for Pakistan Studies and Islamic Studies etc.
