Seminar “Battlefield Brilliance, Ghazwa Badar, and Fatah Makkah”

Department of Dermatology organized an informative and engaging Seminar on Battlefield Brilliance, Ghazwa Badar, and Fatah Makkah. The event was thought-provoking and aimed to provide insights into the historical significance of the military strategies, it provided insights into the significance of these events and their relevance to contemporary times. To engage the attendees actively, a quiz competition related to battlefield brilliance, Ghazwa Badar, and Fatah Makkah was conducted including students from the Department of Dermatology, English Literature, and Optometry.

Prof Dr Khalid Mehmood Yahya, Professor of Medicine, at UMDC, delivered an enlightening speech on battlefield brilliance, focusing on the strategies employed during Ghazwa Badar and its significant outcome in the history of Islam. He highlighted the importance of understanding the Holy Quran and changing our lives accordingly. His insights provided valuable lessons applicable to various aspects of life. Mrs Shumaila Khurram, founder of the Circle of Hope Foundation, delivered a captivating speech describing the historical significance of Fatah Makkah. She emphasized the perseverance and determination exhibited by the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) and his followers during this pivotal event.

Mrs Shumaila Khurram drew parallels between the struggles faced in the past and challenges encountered in the present, inspiring the audience to undertake humanitarian efforts. This event covered key figures that were involved in these battles, including Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) and his companions. It provided an Overview of the socio-political landscape of Arabia at the time of the battles. Furthermore, it helped to acknowledge the analysis of the strategic maneuvers employed by Prophet Muhammad and his companions during the conquest of Makkah. Exploration of the mercy and forgiveness demonstrated by the Muslims upon their entry into Makkah was also highlighted through the questions asked in the contest.

Certificates and gifts were distributed to the winning team A of the quiz competition which was from department of Dermatology. The winners were commended for their understanding of battlefield brilliance and their insights into the events of Ghazwa Badar and Fatah Makkah.
