Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 in the semester system) or 60% (in the annual system) in the MS/MPhil/Equivalent, whether such degree was obtained from Pakistani or foreign universities.

OBJECTIVES

The aim of PhD Management Studies program is to develop individuals who wish to pursue a research-oriented professional career in academia or business. PhD is a three years program based on rigorous research. The main objectives of the programs are:

•To prepare individuals with the depth of knowledge and research competence of international level to till positions in Research Organization, Industry, Management and Academic Institutions

•To improve the quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills of teachers and professionals.

•To promote research activity in the domain of business administration particularly in the context of the business sector in Pakistan and other emerging economies.

ROLE AND SCOPE

The training available on this Integrated Study PhD program enables graduates to develop advanced skills in designing and conducting research in the Social Sciences. Such skills are highly applicable to a variety of careers in academia, business, government and non-profit organizations. A doctoral degree program in business imparts a number of skills that can be applied as part of a corporate organization, independently as a consultant, or even working in the public policy field. These are a few of the jobs which PhD researchers might want to pursue following the completion of your program. Moreover, after completion one will be well-equipped to become an instructor in the business or management field and enter the private market as a member of a company or as an external consultant to improve business processes.
